Above is a link to the final question of the evaluation. We decided to finish the evaluation process with a video as, again, it allows the listener/watcher to connect more with us and really understand what we are saying.

EVALUATION: Question 6

Above is a link to our response to question 6 of the evaluation. This response was also done in powerpoint form, for similar reasons to question 3.
EVALUATION: Question 3
http://www.slideshare.net/maxtygabes/media-studies-the-huntedevaluation-powerpoint-1-question-3
Above is a link to our response to question 3 of the evaluation. For this question we decided to broaden our range of platforms and answered in the form of a powerpoint. We liked the officious style of powerpoint, and it is to be read which allows readers to take more time over it and think clearly about how we are responding.
EVALUATION: Questions 2, 4 and 5

Above is a link to another video of our evaluation process. This video contains our responses to questions 2, 4, and 5. For these question we kept it simple, just filming ourselves answering the questions posed. This method was probably our favourite as a group as it feels much more intimate and there can be a greater connection for listeners/watchers.
EVALUATION: Question 1

Above is a link to our group's response to question 1 of the evaluation process. We decided to do a commentary for this response as we felt that it would be helpful to be able to be evaluating our product simultaneously to it being played on screen so what we were saying could correspond to what was going on on screen.

Process of Constructing Our Opening Title Sequence - Sound Layering
It was quite a complex process completing the sound layering of our film opening. We broke the genre conventions almost immediately by deciding to use two totally different songs in one short opening, although we felt that helped us to effectively convey the protagonist's reactions and emotions. There are also a variety of sound effects in our opening, including the noises of traffic and a gunshot. To compile this smoothly into one short opening was an interesting artistic process for the group.
This image shows the first song we used. We felt that, although it was non-diagetic, 'Stay Positive' by 'The Streets' definitely added a youthful, dark, urban approach to our opening, which is certainly an aspect we were looking for.
This image displays how we added specific sound effects such as traffic. This gave the product a much more realistic and dangerous feel to it, thus adding a large amount of suspense for the audience.
This is right at the end of our video, when 'On the Nature of Daylight' fades out and there is the sound effect of a plane, which acts as a bridge into the last piece of sound which accompanies our final title credit. We constructed this ourselves, hence why it is 'This Bitter Earth (Remix)'.
This is VitrualDJ Home. This program was hugely integral in providing us with a platform to create out sound layering. It was used to smooth in sound effects such as the gun shot and the traffic noise, but really played its key part in remixing the last song that accompanies our end title credit 'The Hunted'. Things such as sound increase and different sound mixtures were used to create what we hoped to be a much more intense ending.

This image shows another sound effect being integrated,
this time the gunshot. It also shows the transition between
our two songs, as the second one; 'On the Nature of daylight',
shows a huge shift in emotion and mood, and it is the effect of
the gunshot that helps to highlight this change.
After the sound FX and and music was finished on Imovie,
we transferred our product over to Final Cut Pro. This image
shows the piano sound used at the start of our piece with the
opening title credit that then fades into our first song 'Stay Positive'.
