Process of Constructing Our Opening Title Sequence - Credits

Our opening credit is our claim to assosciation with 'Clown Media'. This was, originally, an idea the group had to have as our company ident (which can be learnt more about in the Company Ident Discussion blog post). We liked the connotations clowns carry of something that appears nice but is really dark and sinister, and felt it still had relation to our piece, so decided to make it our opening credit.

The above picture shows that we made the decision to have our title credits in red. This picture shows the process of making the credits red. As we repeatedly mention, we felt that the colour red would fit the style of our opening as it certainly connotes violence and danger - two key themes of our product.

The above picture shows again making the text red. It also shows the font we decided

to use; Comic Script. We felt Comic Script was a good font to use as it followed the 

conventions of many other films of a similar thriller/horror genre, as the juxtaposition

of a 'comic' font in a thriller film makes the action seem all the more intense.

The rest of our credits, of course, followed suit and were made red. However,

after some feedback from people close, but external, to the group, in which it was 

suggested that the credits were made a slightly smaller size to make it look more

professional, we followed this through and changed the size down.
